These terms explain how Psicofit works, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you when you use the platform. Take your time reading them: by creating an account, you accept them.
Psicofit is a platform operated by [full legal name], tax ID [NIF], registered at [registered address] ("Psicofit", "we").
These terms govern your use of the Psicofit website, mobile app and services. By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that you have read them and agree to follow them. If you don't agree, please don't use Psicofit.
Psicofit connects you with licensed psychologists for online therapy sessions by video call. On the platform you can choose a professional, book sessions, pay for them and manage them.
We also publish community content and talks about emotional wellbeing. This content is for information only and does not replace an individual psychological assessment or treatment.
The professionals on Psicofit are qualified to practise health psychology, and we verify their degree and professional registration before they join.
Each professional is responsible for their clinical practice, diagnoses and the therapeutic decisions they make with you, in line with their code of ethics. Psicofit provides the platform and manages bookings, but does not take part in the content of therapy.
You need an account to book sessions. You must be at least 18 and provide true, up-to-date information. If you sign up with email and password, you must verify your email before signing in.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity on your account. If you think someone has accessed it without permission, write to us as soon as possible.
When you book, the chosen time slot is held for a few minutes while you complete payment. The session is only confirmed once payment has gone through; you'll receive a confirmation email.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a certified payment provider. Psicofit does not store your full card details. Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes.
You can cancel a session from the link in your confirmation email. Cancellation deadlines and refund conditions are shown when you book. [To do: define the free-cancellation window and refund policy.]
Sessions take place by video call. Please make sure you have a stable connection and a private space where you can talk freely.
Sessions are not recorded, and you may not record them without your professional's explicit consent. If the connection fails because of a technical problem on our side, we'll offer to reschedule.
You agree to use Psicofit respectfully and lawfully. You may not impersonate anyone, harass or disrespect professionals or other community members, share unlawful content, or try to access parts of the platform or data that aren't yours.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account, as explained below.
Information about your mental health is especially sensitive and we treat it accordingly, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). Your data is stored and processed in the European Union.
You can access, correct and export your data, or ask us to delete it. If you ask us to delete your account, it is permanently erased after 30 days; you can cancel the request during that time.

The Psicofit brand, the platform's design and the content we publish belong to Psicofit or their authors. You may use them for personal purposes, but not copy, distribute or exploit them commercially without our written permission.
We work to keep Psicofit available and working properly, but we can't guarantee it will be free of interruptions or occasional errors, for example during maintenance or because of third-party failures.
To the extent permitted by law, Psicofit is not liable for professionals' clinical decisions or for damage caused by using the platform against these terms. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law.
You can close your account at any time from your profile.
We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken or if the law requires it. Unless an urgent or legal reason prevents it, we'll tell you in advance and explain why.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. If a change is significant, we'll email you in advance. The date of the last update always appears at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If a dispute arises, we'll try to resolve it with you amicably. If that isn't possible, the courts of your place of residence will have jurisdiction, in line with consumer protection law.
